Heritage Hunt app for iPhone and iPad

Heritage Hunt provides a learning experience outside of the classroom where school students learn about the local area’s heritage. As students explore the area they will discover locations and be prompted to complete learning exercises along the way.

Heritage Hunt is supported by a teachers resource kit with relevant ties to curriculum outcomes.

Heritage Hunt is limited currently to Petone, New Zealand but will look to expand to other locations in the near future.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Heritage Hunt uses iBeacon technology powered by the Icy platform and any GPS use is very short. No location tracking data is stored on the device by Heritage Hunt nor is it uploaded to our servers.
